Mani Sithu Market (Andrulian reimagining)

Mani Sithu Market reimagined by Andy Lyon.

"My approach was to use processing and layering to capture the hustle and bustle of the market.

I cut the recording into sections, I processed the intro and outro with MangledVerb and the MoggerFogger delay in Hollyhock 3.

I've then chosen 4 parts to create a preset in Polygon and processed with SpecOps, MangledVerb and Ultratap. I've recorded the sound at 3 pitches, changed settings and recorded again, changed settings and recorded again. All of these were layered in Hollyhock 3 using volume curves to give movement.

I've also created a preset in Dust using the cut up recordings and processed with RP Verb 2 and Ultratap and played these during the recording.

All were processed with Litote and Type A - ( new vintage tape encoder by AudioThing) and then mastered in MuLab 7 using Elevate and Stage."
