Passport service resumes in South Sudan after weeks of disruption

Printing and issuance of passports resumed on Thursday at the Directorate of Nationality, Passports and Immigration.

The month-long interruption caused public concern – especially as many prepare to travel over the festive period.

Addressing journalists at the offices in Juba town, the Director of Nationality, Passport and Immigration, Gen Majak Akec Malok said the disruption was caused by a technical fault that has since been resolved.
