At least 30 people have reportedly been killed in inter-clan clashes between the Thiik and Jalwau communities in Tonj State.
Tonj State acting Governor, Manhiem Bol Malek, says the clashes on Sunday between Youths from Jal-wau and Ngaap-agok Counties, lasted six hours living a trail of blood at the clash site.
The acting governor Spoke with Radio Miraya correspondent in Tonj, Manyang Mayom, saying details of what triggered the latest clashes remain unclear.
