THE General Court Martial Tuesday adjourned the trial of eleven SPLA soldiers in the case of an attack on the terrain compound in July last year.

The attack on the compound resulted into raping, looting and the murder of one journalist, sparking international uproar.

Three witnesses appeared in court today to defend the accused soldiers. They told court that the accused persons were not liable for rape, murder and looting at the terrain.

The General court martial presided over by Brigadier Gen. Knight Baryno, adjourned court to January 10th 2018.

Speaking after the proceedings, SPLA deputy Spokesperson Santo Domic, says the court discarded one of the witnesses due to mental disorder.
