Communities in Ruop accuse Soldiers of Torching 11 houses in an operation

An operation by security forces intended to smoke out suspected criminals in Mayual village of Western Barnaam County, Western Lakes went terribly wrong on Wednesday after 11 houses went up in flames.

The cause of the fire that scared residents and forced many to flee the area is not clear, but local residents claim that the huts were torched by the soldiers during the operation.
