In the first hour of The Blitz, the guys reflect back on the college bowl games that took place on New Years. They then focus on the Alabama vs. Clemson match up and what Alabama needs to do to win moving forward. The guys then talk NFL by discussing Marvin Lewis’ two year extension, and after announcing their retirements, the guys discuss Carson Palmer, Bruce Arians and Larry Fitzgerald. The guys finish the hour by talking about the NFL coaches that have recently been fired and Rick Smith’s leave of absence.
