Pierz Pioneers vs Pine City Dragons Girls Basketball 2018

The Pioneers begin the New Year with a good effort against an outstanding Dragons team. Pine City entered the game with a record of 8-1 while Pierz was 2-5 but the two squads were tied at 23-23 at halftime before Pine City started the 2nd half on a 9-2 run and went on to a 55-47 victory. Mariah Olesch came off the bench to score a career-best 13 points with Brittany Boser adding 12 points and dishing out 7 assists. Kelsi Stuckmayer also reached double figures with 11 points, as she moved within 14 of the 1,000 career point mark.
