LISTEN: Sevenoaks Town Councillor Richard Parry - 06/01/18

A Sevenoaks youth cafe is about to get a cash injection of £10,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.  The House in the Basement in the Stag Theatre lost county council funding in 2016, so the money will be use to help with the first part of the 2018's operating costs. The cafe provides cheap hot meals to teenagers who might ordinarily fall in with the wrong crowd, and mentors help with homework and write CV's. Town Councillor Richard Parry has been part of the scheme since the beginning.
