The University of Maryland Eastern Shore held a 47-46 lead with 8:13 left in the fourth quarter against visiting Hampton. The Lady Pirates (4-9, 1-0 MEAC) took the lead less than a minute later and never gave it back — holding off The Shore for a 70-65 victory on Jan. 6.
