South Sudan Embassy in Harare closed over student’s impasse

Operations at the country’s embassy in Harare, the Capital of Zimbabwe have grounded to a halt, after students pitched camp there.

For the past three weeks, more than 30 students have camped at the embassy after two of the Universities denied them food and accommodation for failure to clear outstanding fees arrears.  

On the phone line from Zimbabwe, Makuei Makunchu, a student’s representative Speaking to Radio Miraya, said the situation of the students at the embassy is both “deplorable and miserable.”
