A Kent dinner lady is competing for a place in a national cooking competition today. Cheryl Humphries who works at High Weald Academy in Cranbrook is preparing to cook a two courses meal of curry and orange fool at the School Chef of The Year regional final. Contestants are only allowed to spend £1.30 on ingredients to show how exciting school dinners can be with little costs. Cheryl's hoping it will improve her skills.
