A plan that would have seen hundreds of homes and businesses built on the site of a former airport in Kent has been rejected by councillors.
Almost four years after it closed, the future of the Manston site in Thanet remains uncertain this morning.
The district council have voted against the Local Plan which details how many new homes should be built in the area and where.
