We remain committed to reporting violations in South Sudan - CTSAMM

Episode 96,   Jan 22, 2018, 02:28 PM

The Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring Mechanism (CTSAMM), says it remains committed to delivering on its mandate to monitor and report violations of the cessation of hostilities agreement.

This was in response to criticisms by Cabinet Affairs Minister, Elia Lomuro last week, rejecting recent reports that were released by the monitors citing the government and opposition of separate violations.

Lomuro, who is also the government focal person for the High-Level Revitalization Forum further demanded that the monitors share reports before release.

CTSAMM communications officer Ruth Feeney emphasizes that CTSAMM is an impartial body mandated to monitor violations during the peace process.

Feeney spoke to Gabriel Shadar in this interview.
