Okay Africa Foundation launches mentorship program to promote girl child education

As schools prepare to open for the new academic year next month, Okay Africa Foundation - a local non-profit organization has launched a campaign to keep girls in school.

The three-month online drive seeks to raise alarm on the dangers of early marriage and importance of educating girls.

The organsiation is involving educated and succesful women to share their stories and inspire young girls to go to school.

The campaign will also see outreach to communities in markets and public places .

Wani Micheal is the director of Okay Africa foundation.
