Strood market traders are preparing to move across Medway while multi-million pound works are carried out in the town. The traders were told last Tuesday the market would be closing while improvements are made to Strood's walkways and road layouts. They've been offered pitches at Gillingham market but Mike Parsloe's worried about losing trade... It's expected Strood market will be closed for four months.
