“Put aside your differences and Put the people of South Sudan first,” - This is a stark reminder the Episcopal church of Sudan and South Sudan is sending out to mediators and parties attending the second phase of the High Level Revitalisation Forum which kicked off Monday in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa.

This phase comes after months marked by finger-pointing, recrimination and now U.S and EU sanctions. Despite this, a glimmer of optimism is emerging, as parties convene today to engage on difficult topics of governance and power sharing.

Radio Miraya reporter, Abraham Malek, caught up with the Assistant Secretary of the , Reverand Jackson Aripa to find out the hopes and expectations of the church from this phase of the revitalization forum.
