SRSG Applauds Parties for taking steps to attend HLRF

The Special Representative of the Secretary General also head of the UN Mission in South Sudan says parties to the peace agreement must be willing to make compromises to push the peace process forward. 

David Shearer was in Addis Ababa for the opening of the High-Level Revitalization Forum and said the negotiations must be in the interest of the people of South Sudan. 

Speaking in an Interview with Julio Brathwaite, Mr Shearer applauded the parties for taking the step to get to the negotiating table.
