Negotiations at the ongoing High Level Revitalization Forum hit another stalemate on Friday following disagreements over article 28 in the declaration of principles.
The government delegation is demanding the removal of an article authorizing punitive measures against individuals who violate the peace process, while the opposition side is in strong support.
The talks entered their fifth day today with further stalemates on the structure of the Transitional Parliament. Government spokesperson Michael Makuei explains the government position.
