World Radio Day: Sports Broadcasting from a female sportscasters World

As part of World Radio day conversations,  we spoke to two women with a great passion for sports. 

Ms. Martina Brooks is from Liberia where she among others served as a woman sports broadcaster in her home country Liberia.

MARTINA has many sports awards to her name; including United Nations Mission in Liberia Female Journalist of the Year, Paynesville Players Union Sport Journalist of the Year, Rush School of Taekwondo Sports Promoter of the Year and : 2013 Astute Talented Comrades Female Sports Journalist of the Year.

She has comfortably donned many hats as a commentator, coach and selector. Today on World Radio Day, whose theme is Radio and sports, we were honoured  to have Martina in the studio’ with us to tell us her passion for sports and how it relates to Radio.
