Teachers In Yei threaten to down tools over Salary arrears

Teachers in Yei River States are threatening industrial action if the state fails to pay salary arrears accumulated over the past four months. 

Speaking on Tuesday in an Interview with Radio Miraya, the Chairman Teachers Ad-hoc Yei River State, Yeka Joel, said both the state and National Minister of Education should intervene and clear all outstanding arrears. 

Yeka Joel told Regina Kwaje that failure to clear their arrears will result into a strike action.
