Waterford, Akinade, Patrick McLean - Kenny Shiels on Derry City's 1st fixture away to Waterford

Derry City manager Kenny Shiels spoke to MNL's Patrick Cooke today as they prepare for the long trip to Waterford for the 1st fixture of the Airtricity League 2018 Season.
He believes that Waterford will fancy there chances after they "Cherry picked" players from around the League this year. Kenny also made reference to the departure of former Derry City defender Patrick McLean who is now with Waterford, where he clarified the reason for him leaving.
