WHO scales up response to Food poisoning in Bor

The United Nations Health Agency, WHO is rapidly scaling up its response to a Food poisoning in Bor Municipality, that has already claimed a life of one girl and left hundreds hospitalized.
The World Health Organisation together with the National Ministry of Health has dispatched a team of health experts to Bor to trace people who came into contact and who may have become exposed to the illness.
Once identified, samples will be taken for further tests to establish the major cause behind the massive food poisoning.
Dr. Otim Patrick, the Emergency Officer in charge of Health Security and Emergencies Cluster of the World Health Organisation, spoke with Sani Martin and begun by describing what the health teams are dealing with.
