UNMISS allocates $1million US dollars for Quick impact projects in South Sudan

The United Nations Mission in the country is implementing twenty (20) quick Impact Projects in four priority areas including supporting the host communities around the mission, strengthening the rule of law, and promoting peaceful co-existence.
Quick impact projects are small-scale, low cost projects, funded by UN missions’ that are planned and implemented within a short timeframe.
Speaking to Miraya Breakfast show, Sam Muhumure, Chief of the Recovery, Reintegration and Peace Building unit of the UN mission in the country, said the mission has this financial year committed one million US dollars to support implementation of these projects.
