Plans have been unveiled to spend a billion pounds on keeping water supplies flowing in Kent over the next 60 years...  South East Water, which also covers East Sussex, say new treatment works and reservoirs need to be built in order to cope with a predicted 53 per cent increase in the population over that time. The company also want to reduce how much water is lost through leaks.  Lee Dance is head of water resources at the company. A 12 week consultation into the plans is underway.
