The University of Maryland Eastern Shore dropped another Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference on Saturday at home, reducing the odds of moving out of seventh place before the tournament beginning on March 5.

This time it was the visiting Spartans of Norfolk State who spoiled Homecoming for the Hawks (9-18, 6-9 MEAC) by handing them a 63-53 loss.
