UN Human Rights reports reveals new abuses in south Sudan

More than 40 senior military officials, including three state governors, have been implicated for gross human rights abuses, according to a new report released this morning.
The latest report released by the Commission on Human Rights in South Sudan, states that the implicated officials may bear individual responsibility for war crimes.
Speaking to Radio Miraya reporter Sani Martin, Yasmin Sooka, the Commission’s Chairperson said the report findings are based on statements and other materials gathered from 230 witnesses.
