After Barbara Mikulski retired from her long held Senate seat and Donna Edwards lost her House seat in an attempt to replace Mikulski, the Maryland Congressional Delegation was suddenly all male. Washington College Political Science Professor Dr. Melissa Deckman says that won’t change anytime soon but it could at the state level in the future.
