So, In celebration of the resilient women of South Sudan, Sworo Charles Elisha caught up with one woman who preferred to be called Mama Magareth.

Her story of abandonment by her husband, feeling very low and then rising up to the challenges and facing life with courage and determination is a story echoing the voices of many single mothers in South Sudan.
