Local NGO lobbies Parliament for national SGBV policy

As we prepare to observe International Women’s Day tomorrow, Smile Again Africa Development Organization – SAADO, is pushing for a national policy to combat sexual and gender-based violence.
Representatives from the local Non-Governmental Organisation met with Members of the Parliament this week to discuss improving systems and mechanisms for victims to get support and seek justice.
