In celebration of International Women’s Day and the Women’s month, Miraya Breakfast show has been speaking to some of the country’s most inspiring women to tell their stories.

As you may agree, Gender inequality is still very much alive today and the conflict in the country has exposed many women to abuse and compromising their rights.

Our Upper Nile correspondent, Luka Athiel, caught up with Mama Rechal Mayik, is an accomplished South Sudanese woman, highly respected for her efforts to promote women’s Rights in Upper Nile region.
