#Womenfest - Achol Deng Longar Breaking Female silence

From Aweil to Bentiu and Kuajock, Malakal to Yambio and Tonj, girls and women are rising up and standing up for what they believe in.

Mothers, Lawyers, Activists, models and celebrities - these women have put their lives on the frontline line, to fight for the rights of women and girls in South Sudan.

Meet the inspiring 24 – year – old Achol Deng Longar, who in response to reports that many girls in Tonj state are going to school without wearing underpants, stood up to take action, boost their confidence and improve their esteem. 

She has helped establish “Breaking Females silence” local organization.
