Why, Chicken? (a song for 16/02/2012)

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side. I didn't know "the other side" was meant to mean "the afterlife". Is this common knowledge? Did you all know? Why didn't you ever tell me so? My knowledge banks I start to doubt. What other stuff haven't you told me about? Why did the chicken cross the road? I guess he'd had enough.
