A policy paper produced by the Connecticut Foundation for Open Government is calling on elected officials to consider the public's right to know, when utilizing proprietary computer algorithms to formulate government policy.

In an interview with Brad Davis and Dan Lovallo, the author of the paper, Mitchell Pearlman, talks about why this is so important.  Pearlman is former executive director of the state Freedom of Information Commission.
