The Gambling Commission is recommending a limit of £2 per stake on most traditional slot machines.
But other fixed odds betting terminals - which offer casino-style games - would be capped at £30.
Shares in bookmakers have risen on the news.
It's up to the government whether it'll implement the recommendations.
