Bears took control of Dalal Street with the Nifty breaching the psychological 10,000-mark for the first time in 2018 on the back of a global sell-off on concerns over a global trade war.
The Sensex is down around 400 points. The Nifty Midcap is seeing huge selling, down 2 percent.
All sectoral indices are in the red, falling up to 3%.
