Presidency cannot intervene in Vivacell saga, says Aten Wek Ateny
President Salva Kiir will not intervene in negotiations related to the shutdown of Vivacel mobile service shutdown.
This according to Ateny Wek Ateny, Spokesperson of the Presidency.
The National communication authority shut down Vivacell mobile phone service provider that covers estimated 80% of the population for reportedly failing to comply with government policy.
Speaking on Radio Miraya’s Nationwide program, Ateny Wek Ateny, said the shutdown of Vivacel is strictly a regulatory matter that doesn’t require the president’s involvement.
