You're not alone. Studies show that social media, smartphones and other digital devices have had an impact on our memory and how we store information. There's no doubt that we live in exciting times where we are more connected than ever and have a world of information at our fingertips, but the downside is that all of this information is that it is leading us to distraction. We find ourselves flitting from one app, screen or task to another as we follow a trail of alerts all vying for our attention.
