UNMISS facilitates SSNPS Training of Trainers on the Human Rights Police Manual

Forty South Sudan National Police Officers have gathered in Juba this morning for a human rights training.

The Human Rights Division of the UN mission in South Sudan - UNMISS,  in collaboration with UN Police, UNDP and other substantive sections of the mission, organized the training.

Irena Angelova, Senior Human Rights Officer, says the mission's Human rights division wants to see human rights training incorporated into the curriculum of the Police Training Academy.
