More than 200 Child Soldiers to be released from armed ranks today

Armed groups in Yambio will release more than two hundred children today.
The release taking place in Bakiwiri, located outside Yambio town will be witnessed by the United Nations Children’s agency – UNICEF, a team from the Child protection unit of UNMISS and other partners.
James Aldsworth, UNICEF communications specialist in South Sudan says ninety-five of the children being released today are girls and some of the children are as young as ten years of age.
James spoke to Miraya Breakfast show host Sebit William and exaplined the significance of releasing children from armed ranks in South Sudan.
