Nicky’s Big Water Challenge

May 18, 2018, 04:19 PM

Nicole Milne was slowly losing her sight due diabetes and last year she was left with no peripheral and restricted central vision.

However, despite this Nicky is determined to raise money for NESS, a local charity that helped her become independent again.

Nicole’s first fundraising adventure: “Nicky’s Big Water Adventure” will take place on Friday 25th May 2018 and will involve Nicky Wakeboarding, Paddle boarding and going on the Ringo!

Speaking to RNIB Connect Radio’s Simon Pauley, Nicky tells us more about her plans for fundraising and overcoming sight-loss.

If you would like to help Nicky raise money for North East Sensory Services (NESS) go to her fundraising page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/NicolaMilne4/

North East Sensory Services (NESS) is an independent local charity that delivers information, equipment and support to over 6000 blind and deaf people in the North East. For more information visit: https://www.nesensoryservices.org/
