Male. Teenager (just left Secondary School) in 1975. Worked as an apprentice sheet metal worker in and around Grimsby Docks, maintaining Trawlers and related machinery within workshops and Docklands. The Interview charts the transition of the industry, from offering apprenticeships to being a crumbling enterprise that effected both the immediate town and wider industries related to the Dock’s success.
