Family warns of opioids after near-tragedy

A teenage girl in Eastern Utah nearly died after a routine tonsillectomy, because of the pain pills for the surgery.  Now Amanda Thompson, her family and her doctor are warning about the dangers of using opioids. Not overdosing, just using them. KSL Newsradio’s Mary Richards takes an indepth look.
