‘We need to protect shared spaces’ – SDLP Cllr @cllrtimattwood on why he took down IRA sign #BBCNolan

A Belfast City Councillor has removed an IRA sign attached to a lamppost in west Belfast.

SDLP councillor Tim Attwood said that he and party members had "decommissioned" the sign - and that now is the time to "decommission offensive loyalist flags and banners from shared spaces across Belfast."
