LISTEN: Sandgate Primary school teacher Catherine Thomas says Year 6 pupils are campaigning to eradicate plastic sooner than 2042 - 22/06/18

School children in Folkestone have launched a petition to eradicate plastic sooner than the Prime Minister's pledge of 2042.  Sandgate Primary's Year 6 children decided to take action after learning about the impact plastic has on the environment.  Alongside the petition, they've written letters to Mrs May bring the deadline forward and made a video to raise awareness. Catherine Thomas is a teachers who's been supporting them.
