Concerned about its waste problem, The United Nations Mission in the country has introduced a ban on disposable plastic in it’s camps across the country.
UNMISS staffs are being discouraged from using plastic bags and all shops, foodstores, markets are prohibited from providing plastic bags to UNMISS staff.
