LISTEN: Head of Childline, Elizabeth Rowe, says the number of young people counselled for loneliness is rising - 03/07/18

Young people in Kent are being urged to seek help for feeling lonely - after 4,636 of them contacted Childline in the past year. Figures from the helpline show a 14 per cent rise across the UK with 945 children counselled in the south east.  Teenagers made up the majority of young people in need of help - with the youngest person being just 10.
