Affordable Warmth Fair, Chesterfield

Over 12% of homes in Chesterfield have dangerous appliances at risk of leaking poisonous gas. But many people can’t afford to replace faulty goods. The report comes as Chesterfield Borough Council teamed up with Bolsover and North East Derbyshire councils for the region’s first affordable warmth fair. Jon Mann spoke to Mark Wreghitt from Chesterfield council about how the local authorities are helping vulnerable people affected by fuel poverty.
