Sudanese Mediators present new governance proposals to parties meeting in Khartoum

Parties meeting in Khartoum have received a new proposal from Sudanese Mediators on governance arrangements. 

The draft is a revised version of a proposal presented by Uganda President Yoweri Museveni during a weekend meeting with President Salva Kiir and SPLM-IO Leader Riek Machar at State House Entebbe. 

Peter Mayen, leader of the people’s liberal party is in Khartoum and tells Radio Miraya that the proposal maintains the 45 ministries, 32 states and a legislature of 550 Members of Parliament as suggested in the Entebbe talks, with minor changes in state percentage allocations.
