Well, there might be a ban on using your hosepipe on your garden but not, it seems, on your windows. In fact, it looks like the whole ban maybe isn't even legal. Has no legal authority. That's the claim in this morning's News Letter. The paper claims NI Water has used powers it didn't have to ban you from using a hose to wash your windows or give your boat a good wash.
