Norwegian Ambassador says agreements should translate to reality

The government of Norway says parties to the peace agreement must take charge of their troops to ensure the full implementation of ceasefire agreements. 

 In an exclusive interview on Radio Miraya’s Breakfast Show, Norway’s Ambassador to South Sudan Lars Andersen applauded regional efforts to realize peace and stressed the need for a political solution. 

 Ambassador Lars said the value of any agreements signed are left to be seen on the ground.
